Product Introduction
1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit. Alongside the Navy's Zero fighter, the Hayabusa was Japan's signature fighter during the Greater East Asia War. With its agile maneuverability and high practicality, it served as the Imperial Japanese Army's main fighter throughout the conflict. The Type 2 was the mainstay of the war, and in the newly established Manchukuo (present-day northeastern China), it served as the core of the national air force, along with the Type 97 fighter, until the end of the war. The finished product measures 212mm long, has a wingspan of 237mm, and contains approximately 60 parts. Includes one pilot figurine. Decals are available in four different markings, including the "Hokokugo" (protector's flagship) model purchased with civilian donations.
