The new pattern design also ensures more edges in the tread, improving wet braking performance. Wet braking distance is reduced by 4% compared to our EfficinetGrip COMFORT tire (when ABS is activated).
■Handling performance: A two-layer high-rigidity carcass ply and a high-tensile steel belt layer create a durable internal structure, ensuring grip on dry roads and excellent handling stability.
■Quiet performance: The newly designed tread pattern prevents the spread of air column resonance noise generated from the main grooves. It also reduces vibrations from the road surface and reduces road noise. Road noise is reduced by 6% compared to our EfficinetGrip COMFORT (noise energy measurement). *Complies with the JATMA labeling system for low external noise tires.
