This 1/48-scale plastic model assembly kit recreates the Fairey Swordfish Mk.I, beloved by many Royal Navy pilots.
The wing cross-sections, fabric-covered fuselage surface, raised rib texture, and metal skin around the nose are faithfully reproduced. The wings can also be assembled in a folded position.
The Bristol Pegasus 3M radial air-cooled engine is finished with a rich three-dimensional feel.
The kit includes armament parts such as 730g aerial torpedoes, 250lb bombs, and flares, as well as three crew figures.
In addition to the traditional molded-in color parts, transparent engine cowls and fuselage parts have been added, allowing you to display the pipe-frame fuselage interior and engine, which would otherwise be hidden after assembly.
The kit includes markings for three Royal Navy aircraft, with transparent decals to match the transparent parts.
