A slightly timid Luigi explores a ghost-infested mansion.
In "Oba Valley," a mysteriously powerful "Dark Moon" floats in the night sky. Ghost researcher "Dr. Oya-Ma" lives in harmony with the cheerful and lively ghosts. But one day, a dark shadow creeps up on them...
"King Boo" shatters the Dark Moon into pieces. A mysterious fog then descends upon Oba Valley, and the ghosts suddenly go on a rampage...!
Summoned by Dr. Oya-Ma, Luigi embarks on an investigation into Oba Valley to collect the scattered pieces of the Dark Moon. Will Luigi be able to restore peace to Oba Valley...?
Also available is "Terror Tower," a cooperative mode where players must climb from the first floor of the tower to the top, allowing up to four players to enjoy cooperative play. In addition to online play, up to four people can also play locally.
