[Aiming for a simple, high-quality CD player] In addition to being compact, this unit was developed to be a high-quality CD player that allows you to enjoy the CD media to the fullest. The CD drive, which is the heart of a CD player, uses a high-quality mechanism made by a Japanese manufacturer, and the DAC IC uses the ES9016K2M from ESS Technology, which is well-known for its sound quality. Even in a limited housing space, we have carefully selected and adopted the quality of the parts used. You can enjoy it as a high-quality CD player even with a minimal configuration that connects to an external amplifier.
[As a transport] In addition to one analog line output, the output terminals include two coaxial and optical digital outputs. It can also be used as a CD transport in combination with your favorite D/A converter, such as the SWD-DA15. By using an external D/A converter for digital-to-analog conversion, you can enjoy your favorite CDs with higher quality sound.
[Freely combine] By combining it with various DACs/amplifiers, speakers, headphones and other playback devices, you can create a system that allows you to enjoy your favorite CDs in high quality!
[Compact design for greater freedom of installation location] This unit uses the same compact body case as other SW Desktop Audio series (SWD-UA1, SWD-DA15/DA20). This allows it to be easily installed in a variety of locations, such as on a desktop, TV stand, or bookshelf. It has been made with a focus on a small size so that it can be easily added to your audio system or combined with other SOUNDWARRIOR products.
[Dedicated remote control included] A dedicated remote control that can be operated from a distance is included.
The SWD-CP1 is a compact CD player made in Japan that allows you to enjoy high-quality CDs. In addition to the analog output (LINE), the output terminal also has two digital outputs (optical and coaxial), so you can use it as a transport to transfer digital signals to your favorite external D/A converter. The DAC IC uses ESS Technologies' "ES9016K2M". By adopting a CD drive made by a Japanese manufacturer that provides a stable rotation speed, the information stored on the CD is output stably and with high precision. In addition, by minimizing the size of the main unit as much as possible after implementing the CD drive, it can be installed in various places such as around a desk, TV board, rack, shelf, etc. We have implemented the necessary and sufficient functions and created it with the aim of creating a high-quality CD player.
