Having learned to fear Kenshiro during his battle with him, Raoh challenges Fudo, the man who once instilled that fear in him, to a duel in order to cast away that fear. Before the battle, Raoh draws a line behind him and commands his subordinates to shoot an arrow if Fudo takes even one step back. After knocking Fudo down with overwhelming force, Raoh declares, "I no longer feel the slightest bit of fear," confident that he has overcome his fear. However, as Fudo stands up without giving up, Raoh senses Kenshiro's gaze and unconsciously retreats. At that moment, an arrow is fired by Ken-oh's army, piercing Fudo's flesh.
