While retaining the OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductor and coaxial structure that were the key to the sound quality of the 2524, we have achieved an unprecedented level of extremely low capacitance to obtain even higher sound quality. The shield uses the 3368's unique braided structure, which in principle avoids the problem of kinking of the central conductor that sometimes occurs with horizontally wound structures. In return, the outer diameter has become slightly thicker, but the sound has a wider range and more harmonic components, resulting in a deeper sound. Since the cable retains the appropriate elasticity, it is less likely to lose its shape, and is fully suitable for professional stage use. This model uses the audio-grade plug FP-703 (G) from FURUTECH, a Japanese audio accessory manufacturer that is trusted worldwide. This plug is made for audio transmission and is made of non-magnetic 24K gold-plated α-conductors that have been treated with FURUTECH's unique α-process (-196℃ ultra-low temperature treatment & special electromagnetic field treatment). It ensures high conductivity and eliminates distortion factors, resulting in clearer, more dynamic sound. The heavy housing also has sufficient mechanical strength and is highly reliable.
