The following year, they released the DS-1Distortion, which is synonymous with distortion. Prized for its edgy attack and smooth sustain, this classic compact pedal can be heard on countless songs. In 2023, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the BOSS brand, we will release a special model DS-1-B50A with a metallic-painted housing decorated with silver screws, golden knob caps, and a commemorative emblem. The unit is given a special 4-digit serial number and is housed in a box with a commemorative emblem. This collector's item, with its time-tested distortion sound, is limited to just 7,000 units worldwide.
