Product description PEUGEOT grinders have been used in kitchens around the world for nearly 200 years, becoming an icon of French cuisine. Most of the production cycle takes place at the PEUGEOT plant in Quingey, located in the department of Doubs in Burgundy. Thanks to full production control, the grinding mechanisms of the grinders are covered by a lifetime warranty. Peugeout grinders use proprietary grinding mechanisms dedicated to various types of spices. Salt mills can be used to grind coarse, sea and rock salt. Pepper mills are equipped with a special mechanism with a spiral shape of burrs, which guarantees optimal introduction of herbs and their grinding. Grinding fineness in PEUGEOT grinders can be set either by traditional smooth adjustment or, in the case of grinders with the uSelect mechanism, by selecting one of the 6 levels of grinding fineness. Peugeot's responsible pro-ecological policy means that the wood used for the production of grinders is PEFC certified, and mostly comes from local forests of the Franche-Comte region, and only solvent-free paints are used for painting the cabinets.
