Perhaps that was the intention, however the waterproof layer is not extended to the front of the panties. I didn't pay attention to this. The material is quite stiff, more natural. Just right for hips 103-105 cm.

I took an L for my M, but they are noticeably tight.. I guess that's how it should be. Or maybe I should have taken XL. I will add a review later.
