Once connected, use the left footswitch to switch channels A/B. Channel A is turned on when the LED lights red, and channel B is turned on when the LED lights green. Press the Y switch on the right side to turn on both channels for stereo output. Active A/B/Y has an output transformer on one of its outputs, eliminating the need for ground lift to eliminate hum. Equipped with an output transformer and a FET transistor that completely eliminates switching noise, you can freely switch between one or both outputs, making it a must-have item when going out for a gig or session.
