The included front display is preset to “A Special Rapid Himeji.” Replacement displays “A Special Rapid Maibara” and “B Special Rapid Omi-Imazu” are also included.
Destination display stickers are included, allowing side displays to be customized. Fine details such as “Priority Seat” signs can also be expressed.

Each car is equipped with body-mounted KATO close-coupling (hookless) couplers, allowing smooth coupling and decoupling. Two single-type electric connectors are included on the leading cars, enabling multiple-unit operation.
